• Be able to design and evaluate the logic and the performance of the MES system.
• Be able to design new solutions for MES in terms of quality, product and energy.
• Ensure the connectivity through the MES system in terms of machines (PLC, PC, I/O modules).
• Be able to troubleshoot and solve the machines' reliability issues linked to the MES system and traceability.
• Ensure a sustainable good working of the MES system and traceability systems.
• Support during development and commissioning of new lines and projects.
• Support IT with the implementation of new projects.
• Ensure implementation of the MAGiC (energy consumption monitoring) and define strategies for energy saving.

Responsabilities:

Industrialisation

• Know and apply the IProM procedure, including the Lean Process Design Methodology (for big automation projects)
• Be able to do functional, 4M's, 5W2H analysis
• Analyse the data in the MES to improve the line TRP and TLR.
• Create dashboards to analyse the data from the process.
• Support actively the ramp-up of new equipments to make them successful
• To be able to create specifications for MES interaction with the production line.
• Manage the subcontractors to install or improve stations/lines.
• Evaluate the machines at the supplier or at the final acceptance and using a simulator of the site MES system.
• Implement the standard RAISES related to automation and MES.
• Implement the monitoring and improvement of energy consumption at the lines.
• Define the nominal energy consumption of all the new stations and lines.
• Develop and program MES new applications for data acquisition.

Production & Continuous Improvement

• Monitor the performance (QCDM) of equipment to identify room for progress and implement progress actions in his field (for TRP, breakdown & microstoppages rate progress) related to MES performance.
• Perform continuous improvement of equipment of his perimeter (reliability, cost, performance)
• Support the production & maintenance departments, to improve the MTTR ( analysis, problem solving)
• Act for a fast & cost-optimised connection of machines' PLC to the MES, with error codes management
• Be able to transfer knowledge to production and maintenance people for an improved reactivity (1st level)
• Participle to APU QRQC, according to site organisation & need
• Work on obsolescence plans (identification & solving of issues)
• Work on breakdowns risks mitigation plan (identification & implementation)
• Be in contact with the suppliers (improvement, support)
• oPerform benchmarking and market analysis in order to remain aware of last evolutions, trends and integrate them in its mid-term actions

Safety & environment

• Ensure the respect of Safety and Environment directives, including LOTO.
• Act permanently to reduce accident risks
• Act to improve the 5S (including machines' documentation) and react to issues.
• oVerify during design and implementations stations/lines to meet the groups standard related to safety including hardware, software and logic .

Define the Industrial Digitalization priorities and objectives :

• Defines the Industrial Digitalization priorities and objectives in accordance of PG directives, leading to maximise the Customer Satisfaction and improve the overall operation efficiency on the plant, process development, engineering development, industrial project development;
• Design and deploy the Industrial Digitalization solutions and standards :
• Designs the specifications of new features or evolutions to support the industrial / production / engineering systems requirements
• Defines and validates on-site all standard Industrial Digitalization features & solutions as MES, traceability, eWS...
• Installs, sets up and runs digital solutions on existing or new production equipment

Performs the learning program :

• Use standard training modules of the Industrial Digitalization network to train local users.
• Coordinates requirements of training sessions for newcomers or other needs, interface with IS network to provide basic and specific learning program
