Salesforce Developer
Hybrid CDMX
We are seeking a Salesforce Developer to join our team! With 3+ years of hands-on experience in Salesforce Sales Cloud development and administration. Proficient in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, and Salesforce APIs. Demonstrated experience in building scalable and customized Salesforce solutions and participating in the complete software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and post-go-live support.
This opportunity is for you if you are familiar with Agile/Scrum environments and actively participate in ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives. You have experience working with cross-functional teams and system integrators, especially within B2B solutions and multi-country Salesforce landscapes.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop customized solutions on Salesforce Sales Cloud using Apex, Visualforce, LWC, and other Salesforce technologies.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, developers, architects, and designers across geographies.
- Work across the full software development lifecycle: requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
- Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code aligned with Salesforce best practices.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including daily standups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Manage and track code using version control tools (Git, Bitbucket, GitHub).
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Salesforce DevOps tools such as Flosum, Copado, or Gearset.
- Perform unit testing and support integration and user acceptance testing.
- Work with System Integrators and third parties on the development and documentation of B2B solutions.
- Manage development, defect, and support tickets using platforms like ServiceNow or Jira.
- Conduct proof-of-concepts and develop prototypes to support architectural decisions.
- Collaborate with peers to troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application components.
- Ensure technical governance, compliance, and documentation for all developments.
- Provide system administration support (e.g., user access, permissions, configuration).
- Engage in cross-functional initiatives to continuously enhance the Salesforce platform and CRM strategies.
- Stay updated on Salesforce innovations, tools, and best practices.
Qualifications and Soft Skills
- Minimum 3+ years of experience with Salesforce development.
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud; Commerce Cloud and Service Cloud experience are a plus.
- Hands-on experience with Apex, LWC, SOQL, and integration with Salesforce APIs.
- Previous work in Agile/Scrum environments and DevOps workflows.
- Experience using ServiceNow, Jira, or similar ticketing systems.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- High attention to detail and a passion for delivering quality solutions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Proactive and self-motivated, with a strong sense of ownership.
- Open to learning, mentoring, and contributing to a knowledge-sharing culture.
- Experience in retail, consumer goods, or eCommerce industries is an advantage.
- Willingness to work in a collaborative, multi-org, multi-country Salesforce environment.
Academic Background and Certifications
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I/II, Sales Cloud Consultant, or B2B Commerce Developer are a strong plus.
- Certifications in DevOps tools (e.g., Copado, Flosum, Gearset) or experience with Git-based version control systems are also considered a plus.
- Fluent English (spoken and written) is mandatory.
- Additional languages such as Spanish, Portuguese, or French are a plus.
- Availability to work with teams across the Americas (US, Canada, Mexico, LATAM).
