Simplified Drawing Designer

Responsibilities

• Elaborate and/or update Simplified Drawings.
• Analyze and interpret industrial equipment requirements based on the Master Blueprint Catalog as well as Tag alias information contained in the Blueprint template to modify an SD or generate a new SD.
• Analyze and interpret existing information from projects already developed, to use as a basis when modifying an SD or generating a new SD
• Internal review of the document with APM Engineers before sending to the client to ensure the quality and readability of the document produced.
• Maintain communication with the client in case of doubts in the design of the SD.
• Send to the Client for verification and approval and implement comments or modifications suggested by the client.

Requirements

• 2 to 5 years in Oil & Gas industry, Power Generation, etc.
• Experience in commissioning, monitoring or maintenance of process equipment
• Knowledge with some equipment such as: Turbines, Generators, HRSG, Compressors, Motors, Pumps, Sprayers, Heat Exchangers, etc.
• Analytical thinking and focused on industrial equipment problem solving.
• Knowledge in the interpretation of P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams)
• Knowledge of control signals that impact the performance and condition of industrial equipment in their area of expertise.
• Advanced English
