The purpose of this role is to lead/implement complex and standard engineering solutions, typically undertaking one aspect of a medium/large projects and Contracts (i.e. MMI, Control or Safety applications, Networking, Hardware design, SCADA), to successful completion within budgeted time and cost constraints achieving required quality.
May interface directly with customers on specific design details of nonstandard solutions.
Can technically coach/mentor an assistant and actively shares knowledge with other engineers in the discipline team.
To support the implementation of projects and contracts in line with LSS objectives including continuous improvement of margin, customer satisfaction, schedule, working capital and safety performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing engineering Honeywell Installed Base support to existing customer ad new customer.
• Answering customer queries and resolving technical issues.
• Supporting HPS sales team to develop new opportunities
• Liaising with the Solution architect, Sales Team, SOL, FSM
• Reporting and status updates as to the current support to HPS customers
• Ensures that required prerequisites (e.g. design inputs, tools, documentation, deliverables, schedule, and budget) are in place prior to commencing work.
• Produces part(s) of functional design specifications with little supervision.
• Produces (parts of) detailed design specifications.
• Executes work assignment to appropriate standards and quality systems (Implementation, Test & Documentation)
• Coaches and supports assigned engineer(s) to ensure they are able to meet the requirements of their work.
• Monitors and controls assigned work scope against the project/contract plan.
• Effectively communicates with customers to fully define and agree project/contract requirements.
• Proactively recommends potential quality and efficiency improvements within the engineering group
• Shares technical knowledge with the team, supervisor, own discipline and other engineering disciplines
• Reports progress and technical problems and/or changes to project lead engineer or principal engineer.

YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelors' degree in engineering preferred, Appropriate technical qualification for role, Six Sigma Certification
• Project/contract experience as Engineer in at least one discipline. 5+ years of applicable project experience
• Product certification or knowledge about Honeywell products (Experion, C300, TPS, HPM, SM, PLC), integration with third parties, Protocols OPC, Modbus TCP, Hard, FB, One Discipline certification - Networking, Working knowledge of MS Office,

WE VALUE

• Desire experiences in: programming PLC AB, PLC Siemens, Instrumentations, C#, Phyton, Java Script, Visual
• Basic, and other high level languages
• Spanish: Native, Ability to effectively communicate in English is required
