Job Overview
Builds and maintains the tooling and infrastructure used to automate the release, deployment, and upgrade processes. Designs software needs for business; provides technical leadership on complex solutions for software development, testing and validation processes. Combines software development and IT operations practices which shorten the systems delivery life cycle and provide a continuous delivery platform. Dev-Ops area complements the efficiencies of Agile software development methods.
What your background should look like:
EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE
• Bachelors degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in .net full stack development.
Competencies Required/Desired
• Strong understanding of .NET programming languages (C#, VB.NET)
• Experience with Umbraco, ASP.NET Core, Web API, or other .NET web development frameworks
• Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience with front-end frameworks like React or Angular (preferred)
• Experience with SQL Server or other databases
• Experience with unit testing and debugging.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Roles & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Client-side and server-side architecture for web applications.
• User interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks like React.
• APIs using .NET frameworks like ASP.NET Core or Web API.
• Secure and scalable database solutions using SQL Server or other databases.
• Write unit tests and integration tests for code.
• Monitor application performance and identify bottlenecks.
• Deploy applications to production environments.
• Work with other developers, designers, and product managers to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers.
• Experiment with new technologies and evaluate their potential for use in projects.
Desired Skills
• Experience with cloud platforms like Azure or AWS
• Experience with DevOps practices
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
