The Plant Scheduler will be responsible for production programs for the plant and tracking production performance maintaining daily communication and interaction with Logistics Chief and Production staff in the plant.
Provide weekly programs, generate production orders in SAP, supervise production adherence, and analyze inventory status and warehousing impact, being able to prepare production balances, presentations, and other reports.

Key Deliverables
- Determine weekly production requirements for the demand assigned to every product family on Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), customer orders, warehouse and shipment characteristics, and annual production goals.
- Set weekly and daily production schedules and assure production order creation in SAP for plant production families to supply domestic demand and affiliate demand, using MF50 (JDA) and regular order creation transactions CO01 and CO02.
- Identify and work to resolve potential product shortfalls based on communication with Logistics Chief.
- Monitor local product inventories based on safety and operative stocks aligned with daily demand including warehouses and break stations. Taking care of the DIO target (Days inventory on hand) asked by the Global supply chain. Aligning the operation in the plants with JDA proposals.
- Follow up on critical inventories and special customer requirements including them in weekly program and being able to ask for changes within the week if needed.
- Manage local inventory for self-consumption usage codes considering local and import products.
- Provide coordination between supply chain, production, customer service & order coordination.
- Provide support to Logistics Chief with communication to operations and packaging tollers.
- Support Logistics Chief in efforts to continuous improvement of the process through process optimization and maintaining the department's technical proficiencies.
- Assist with weekly production adherence and order accomplishment analysis within the plant.
- Perform special projects and other related duties as assigned by Supply Planner and Logistics Chief.
- Develop plans to monitor and cover product shortfalls by working with supply chain, production, customer service, and order coordination.
- Expedite quality lots by working with Quality staff and special requirements from affiliates.
- Monitor the accomplishment of maintenance plans and the effect on the channel availability during the month.
- Act as backup to other team members and eligible to work in new technologies.

Knowledge, Skills, and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- Proficiency with SAP.
- Experience collecting data from numerous sources, organizing and maintaining accurate records and files, and generating required reports.
- English communication skills.
- Knowledge of operations, products, and customers is desirable.
- Demonstrated leadership experience with proven ability to drive results.
- Experience presenting to cross-functional audiences, including executive leadership.
- High proficiency using web-based applications, MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and ERPs) is required.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and execute digital initiatives to streamline processes.
