Job Description

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Modification and development of PLC programs for production equipment.
• Support application and integration of Manufacturing Execution System in the plant.
• Support technical discussions with external/internal departments.
• Provide proposals for plant system improvement.
• Cooperation with development departments, support improvement of traceability.
• Plan, lead, and execute new technology projects with multidisciplinary teams.
• Maintain project schedules, provide regular project updates, maintain contact with project staff.
• Debug and test PLC and HMI software.
• Installation and development of projects involving new technologies based on Co-Bot programming.
• Provide support to Plant's new technology strategies based on Co-Bots, PLC and HMI programming.

Qualifications

EDUCATION & ACADEMIC BACKGROUND

• Engineering degree in Electronic, Mechatronic, Electromechanics, or related technical field.
• Bilingual (Spanish and advance English).

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• 3 or more years of experience in programming PLC.
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving methodologies.
• Ability to provide Customer Service/Feedback on the spot.
• Experience with PLC/IPC, networks, communications.
• Experience in implementation of Nexeed MES solutions (OpCon Classic, OpCon+), Robotics, Siemens, Rockwell, Festo is a plus
• Ability to work in cross-functional teams with a high degree of self-initiative.
• Co-Bots and Robots knowledge
