?About the Role:
The Liquid Shift Leader is responsible for overseeing operations, maintenance, planning, and ensuring optimal efficiency across all production lines in a Lean Manufacturing environment. This role requires a strong commitment to food and employee safety, ensuring strict compliance with all regulatory standards, including BRC, HACCP, GMP, and Health & Safety programs.
The Liquid Leader ensures daily production activities align with the company's strategic goals and that products are manufactured efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead daily production operations with a focus on safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement (TPM, GMP, 5S).
- Ensure full compliance with food safety and occupational health standards.
- Communicate production schedules, set clear expectations, and ensure follow-up with team members.
- Supervise and evaluate workforce performance and maintain optimal conditions in work areas.
- Coordinate sanitation tasks, maintenance needs, rework processes, and basic equipment repairs.
- Manage personnel matters such as vacation scheduling, attendance tracking, discipline, and training.
- Actively participate in health and safety programs and conduct incident investigations.
- Record and manage production data in SAP to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Provide hands-on leadership and positive guidance to both production and maintenance teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments to support continuous and efficient workflow.
About You:
- Professional experience in food industry, pharmaceutical, or cosmetics companies (desirable).
- 3+ years of experience as an Operational Leader.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
- Strong leadership, organizational skills, soft skills, with a focus on creativity and teamwork.
- SAP experience is considered an asset.
- Solid knowledge of TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) and continuous improvement practices.
- Conversational English.
