Main Responsibilities

• As a software engineer for John Deere Supply Chain Solutions, located in Torreon, Mexico you will:
• Be responsible for delivering modern full-stack solutions which will support our customers around the world to aid and make decisions based on risk & compliance analysis.
• Develop and implement modern technical solutions to deliver valued-user stories.
• Support/assist in resolution of IT technical issues within the product team.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop automated testing scripts.

What Skills You Need

• Experience in software development and development practices:
• Experience programming under Object Oriented Programming (OOO)
• 1+ years of experience with Java web technologies (e.g., Spring, Java EE, MVC) and RESTful or Rest/SOAP services
• 1+ years of experience working with SQL relational databases (e.g., db2, postgresql)
• Experience with version control systems mainly GitHub.
• 1+ years of experience with modern programming languages (e.g. React, Node, Javascript, Typescript)
• Ability to apply engineering principles and concepts for design.
• Ability to manage many competing priorities/requests in a fast-paced environment.

What Makes You Stand Out

• Knowledge in cloud development (AWS or Azure).
• Agile/Scrum practices.
