Main Responsibilities

• As a software engineer for John Deere Supply Chain Solutions, located in Torreon, Mexico you will:
• Be responsible for delivering modern full-stack solutions which will support our customers around the world to aid and make decisions based on risk & compliance analysis.
• Develop and implement modern technical solutions to deliver valued-user stories.
• Support/assist in resolution of IT technical issues within the product team.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop automated testing scripts.
• Coach and develop other software engineers.

What Skills You Need

• Experience in software development and development practices:
• Experience programming under Object Oriented Programming (OOO).
• 3+ years of experience with Java web technologies (e.g. Spring, Java EE, MVC).
• 3+ years of experience working with SQL relational databases (e.g. db2, postgresql).
• Experience with version control systems mainly GitHub.
• 2+ years of experience with modern programming languages (e.g. javascript, typescript).
• English verbal & written skills (advanced).

What Makes You Stand Out

• Any cloud certification (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Agile/Scrum practices

Education

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science or related field.
