We are a transnational telecommunications company with over 60 years of experience, providing solutions to original equipment manufacturers, contract manufacturers, assemblers, and installers in different countries.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Production Manager to join our team.
The Production Manager is responsible for directing and coordinating manufacturing processes within assigned production areas. This role ensures alignment with company objectives in the areas of safety, quality, delivery, cost, and employee engagement.
The Production Manager drives systematic continuous improvement, leads strategic deployment efforts, and is responsible for delivering operational excellence through effective data utilization, team development, and the execution of process improvement projects.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Direct report to the Plant Manager
Understand and follow company's policies and procedures, all the time
Aid in production employee training, development, coaching
Motivating, supporting, and providing guidance to production staff
Communicating regularly with management regarding problems or issues impacting
production
Create and maintain Planning Tools, including Backlog Report
Determine appropriate staff levels and work assignments for assembly team
Train and supervise all assembly staff, including Team Leads, and Shift Supervisors for
assigned plant
Assist with and complete employee performance reviews
Make certain our established quality processes are followed, including First Piece,
Traceability and Re-work systems
Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment
Provide appropriate work procedures, documentation, and work rules
Ensure machines and tools are properly maintained and calibrated for minimal downtime
Maximize production and efficiency, set productivity goals and monitor performance to
goals
Adapt to daily production changes and order expedites
Provide reports to management as needed
Partner with Inventory Control to maintain inventory accuracy
Possess technical knowledge to perform all basic tasks required of staff
Assist and implement new processes for existing products and new processes for new
products in production
Participate in all company meetings as required
Comply with special projects and other activities as required by top management
Communication and coordination with other departments to ensure timely deliveries of
materials
TECHNICAL SKILLS
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience is required.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
Direct experience leading project lifecycles from start to finish.
Demonstrated ability to manage timelines, budgets, scope, and stakeholders.
Good communication skills with stakeholders.
Conflict resolution and resource management.
Ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams.
Certificates, Licenses, and/or Registrations: Valid driver's license.
