Our team establishes and builds processes and structures based on business and technical requirements to channel data from multiple inputs, route appropriately and store using any combination of distributed (cloud) structures, local databases, and other applicable storage forms as required. We develop the data sets and pipelines that will support analysis and model development including improving data quality, integration of disparate data sources, enhancement of data, transformation of data and development of performant infrastructure for access and reporting. As well, we design, build and oversee the deployment and operation of technology architecture, solutions and software to capture, manage, store and utilize structured and unstructured data from internal and external sources.

We are seeking talented and passionate administrators with deep understanding of data management, data transformation and engineering, data quality and data analytics. You will be part of a team comfortable performing tasks at any level of the technology stack ranging from data engineering to administration.

Job Requirements and Preferences:

Basic Qualifications:

Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor Degree

Additional Educational Requirements:

In lieu of a Bachelor Degree, 5 years of professional experience involving technology-focused process improvements, transformations, and/or system implementations

Minimum Years of Experience: 5 year(s)

Oral and written English proficiency required

Preferred Fields of Study: Computer and Information Science, Database Administration, Management Information Systems, Software App, Cloud technologies.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills:

Demonstrates through knowledge and/or a proven record of success in the following areas:

• Working within product/solution teams to build data models and data transformation/integration routines/services;
• Having knowledge of data architecture and data management;
• Having knowledge of database fundamentals and data modeling;
• Having an understanding of ODS, data warehouse, data mart, and data cube, and database technologies;
• Having the ability to recognize and identify patterns in data relationships from disparate systems;
• Analyzing source systems and develop processes to extract, transform and load (ETL/ELT) this data into the target platforms;
• Having experience in building complex, highly scalable, high volume and low latency analytics solutions;
• Having extensive experience with RDBMS (SQLServer, Azure SQL, PostgreSQL), NoSQL (MongoDB) and/or other database technologies (Neo4j);
• Creating data integration using iPaaS tools, ADF, Snap Logic etc., and work with the team and vendor to create and evolve scalable data integration solutions;
• Having experience programing with Python, Spark, pySpark will be an advantage;
• Understanding, creating and implementing process design and target data models;
• Developing, test and debug and document ETL and data integration process. Ensure data integrity of sensitive data;
• Addressing performance, high availability, high scalability and data quality issues;
• Demonstrating some knowledge/experience with data analytic, visualization and virtualization tools (Dremio, PowerBI a plus);
• Demonstrating ability to conceptualize Azure infrastructure and understand the prescribed design architecture;
