A Manager of Web Development should have enough experience to understand a wide variety of approaches to systems/application design. Given a mission like "figure out how to move our application from AWS to Azure" or "create a new CMS-enabled web application that integrates with X systems", should be able to put the entire systems together and come up with end-to-end solutions. Using this experience, this role is able to help improve the overall technical capabilities of the team, whether that is through ad-hoc mentoring of other teammates, internal technology deep dive presentations, and optimization of processes and technical best practices. This role is also responsible for the management of career paths, hours, goals, and other development areas for other software engineers on the team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• · Lead the implementation of custom technology solutions that solve the business needs of our clients
• · Collaborate heavily with fellow developers, designers, media specialists, and analysts to solve problems related to the implementation of the solution
• · Develop complete front-end stack of projects using HTML/CSS and Javascript frameworks, such as Angular or React
• · Develop back-end, server-side code using languages such as C#/.Net and/or PHP
• · Integrate front-end UI with backend and/or third party data layers
• · Develop RESTful APIs to consolidate and normalize data across systems
• · Lead integrations with various client and third-party systems, including CMS, CRM, and ERP systems
• · Lead the technical setup of any environments, code repositories, infrastructure, and other required technologies or systems needed for implementation of the solution
• · Lead the deployments of developed solution to various non-production and production environments
• · Set and follow coding standards
• Bring fresh, creative ideas on how to continuously improve our team and service offerings

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Computer Science or IT related field

Experience:

· 7+ years experience building highly-scalable interactive web applications

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• · ADVANCED ENGLISH
• · Significant real-world experience developing real products or custom responsive websites at large scale
• · Experience with integrating web applications with 3rd party and other client systems, including CMS, CRM, and ERP systems
• · Experience with Object Oriented Programming paradigms
• · Experience working with database technologies (MSSQL, MySQL, Blob Storage)
• · Experience with Content Management System systems from both a development and administration perspective (Kentico experience preferred - Sitecore, AEM, WordPress, Drupal etc.), certified developers in one or more CMS highly desired
• · Experience with source control (Git, SVN, TFS) and bug tracking software
• · Experience with production deployment processes and leading production deployments
• · Experience with automated CI/CD processes and technologies
• · Experience with creating highly visible and trackable websites via technical SEO and Analytics implementations
• · Experience with search indices such as Lucene/Solr
• · Experience with remote server navigation and maintenance. (SSH, FTP, Log and File Maintenance)
• · Experience with Cloud based server architecture and configuration
• · Experience with NoSQL databases highly desired
• Experience on a team that produced production code
