Material and Distribution Analyst

Description -

We are looking for a Material and Distribution Analyst to plan and prepare the Production Programs for the manufacture of products industrial or consumer, to comply with the Production Master Plan of the area assigned to through maximizing productivity levels.

In this role you will applies intermediate level of subject matter knowledge to solve a variety of common business issues. Works on problems of moderately complex scope. Acts as an informed team member providing analysis of information and limited project direction input. Exercises independent judgment within defined practices and procedures to determine appropriate action. Follows established guidelines and interprets policies. Evaluates unique circumstances and makes recommendations.

Responsibilities:

• Plans and prepares production programs for the manufacture of industrial products or consumption.
• Control the Work Orders of your Area.
• Coordinates with Engineering, Materials, Quality and Maintenance to continuously improve the performance of your area.
• Prepares the Production Program to establish the sequence and time required for each operation to meet the Shipment Dates according to Sales Forecasts and Orders of the Customers.
• Analyzes the Production requirements in terms of Direct Personnel and Processes to Optimize the Available Capacity of your area.
• Speed up the operations that are delaying the Program and alter the Programs according to unforeseen conditions.
• Prepares Production Reports.
• Maintains the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) of the Organization.

Education and Experience Required:

• First level university degree or equivalent experience.
• Typically 2-4 years of experience in a supply chain function.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Mastery in English and local language.
• Developed understanding of materials & distribution processes and functional contribution to business.
• Developed IT knowledge and skills (e.g., SAP and MS Office Suite).
• Solid problem solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills (e.g. customer-facing qualities, negotiation skills).
• Developing business acumen.
• Good project management skills.
• Familiarity with Lean Sigma methodology.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is $101,500.00 -- $156,350.00 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
