Eaton's VEH NAT North America Truck division is currently seeking a HR Supervisor.
What you'll do:
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
A. Plan, organize, direct and control Headcount management: Manning needs, recruitment, onboarding, performance evaluations, development plans, succession planning and performance improvement processes.
B. Driving strategic direction for organizational development: Deploy Eaton culture, employee engagement, retention, develop leadership attributes in an inclusive and diverse environment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
A. Implement and administer policies and procedures consistent with Corporate and Plant guidelines to ensure consistent and fair administration.
B. Assists in the preparation of corporate and/or government required reports relating to employment date and employment practices. Assist in corporate or plant sponsored HR and other special projects and initiative, including but not limited to OCA, Talent HUB, and EBS.
C. Implements, promotes and maintains a safe work environment by implementing a culture of accidents prevention, investigation, equipment maintenance and application of rules. Identify, control and administer risk and danger in own area.
D. Promotes the company's vision by actively supporting Eaton's ethics and values as well as quality policies and aspirational goals.
E. Motivate and coach employees to maintain high levels of satisfaction, productivity, and quality through effectively utilizing available rewards and recognition channels to encourage and promote desired behaviors and results.
F. Coordinate Development and performance evaluation processes for hourly and salary employees, (Talent HUB and Functional competences).
G. Improve organizational environment and employee satisfaction through constant communication with the employees fulfilling their needs according to company strategy and sustainability. (Pulse Survey and local mini surveys, 1:1, round tables, mentoring, 70/20/10, career interest and 360 evaluations)
H. Develop competencies and skills for Hourly and Salary employees through the deployment of corporate and local programs.
I. Ensure company is able to fill production necessities due to have the required headcount.
J. Manage the annual communication plan to ensure key messages have been deployed.

Qualifications:
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE.
A. College degree in administration, business, psychology or similar.
B. English - language capability, speaking, reading & writing required
C. 5 - 10 years' experience in HR area.
D. Processes business acumen and in a trusted business partner.
E. Ability effectivively manage multiple projects, relationships and leverage diversity
F. Broad knowledge in compensation.
G. Strong experience in negotiations with unions.
H. Broad knowledge in labor law.
I. Knowledge of behavioral science, including the ability to motivate, counsel, and constructively deal with people at all levels.
J. Strong leadership skills must be capable of leading their organization on a continuous journey of sustained improvement.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION.
A. This position requires some travel.
B. Develop and implement positive employee relations (Eaton Philosophy) to encourage employee involvement and to create an environment in which employees see no need for third party intervention.
