Responsabilidades

• Administer and support database in LIXIL Americas
• Management of Oracle and SQL in on-prem and in public cloud environments
• Providing support to the new implementations, improving performance, backups,
  troubleshooting, applying patches, and installing the new versions of the database
• Lead database development projects acting as an advisor to improve functionality, cost, performance and/or efficiency.
• Knowledge in other database platforms such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, etc. highly desirable.
• Knowledge of AWS RDS and Google Cloud Platform Cloud SQL is highly desirable.

Requisitios

1 Expert Designer to build and implement high availability Oracle databases (RAC, Data Guard) Oracle 12G or
plus. SQL Server Standard & Enterprise
2 Expert Designer to build and implement high availability SQL Server databases 2012 or higher
3 Design, implement, and manage high availability and disaster recovery (DR) within databases per application
requirements
4 Manage Oracle and MS SQL RDS systems in the AWS cloud. Manage Cloud SQL databases running
Postgres/MySQL/Microsoft SQL Server in Google Cloud Platform. Knowledge of NoSQL databases is
preferred.
5 Work on local tickets as they pertain to database issues
6 Work on global tickets as they pertain to database issues
7 Assist and lead on database migration projects from on-prem to cloud
8 Lead various projects from the database side and execute all related responsibilities. Ability to train
subordinates or other team members as required.
9 Design and implement database in accordance to end users' information needs
10 Use high-speed transaction recovery techniques and backup data
11 Minimize database downtime and manage parameters to provide fast query responses
12 Provide proactive and reactive data management support and training to users
13 Determine, enforce, and document database policies, procedures, and standards
14 Perform tests and evaluations regularly to ensure data security, privacy, and integrity
15 Monitor database performance, implement changes, and apply new patches/versions as required
16 Good knowledge in All in memory Process of Oracle 12g or plus

17 Hands-on experience with database standards and end-user applications
18 Excellent knowledge of data backup, recovery, security, integrity, and SQL. Conduct periodic tests to recover
databases. Develop and manage processes for carrying out these tests.
19 Familiarity with database design, documentation, and coding. Ability to write scripts.
20 Previous experience with DBA case tools (frontend/backend) and third-party tools
21 Flexibility to work depending upon the time zone of geographically dispersed teams
22 Develop and implement database strategy for licensing on-prem and in the cloud for various databases
including Oracle, MS SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.
23 Basic systems knowledge of Microsoft Windows and major Linux distributions
24 Learn and support Google Big Query from a database perspective
25 Willingness to learn continuously and pickup newer skills as required by the job
