We have an exciting opportunity for an exceptional individual to work supporting one of our clients as a Sr. Oracle DBA

Requirements:
• +6 years of experience working as an Oracle DBA.
• Experience in Shell Scripting
• Experience in AWS
• Experience in MySQL as secondary skills.
• Perform L3 Level Database Support in Amazon Cloud RDS Oracle and MySQL databases.
• Experience in writing DB scripts and Shell scripts for DB support activities.
• Experience supporting P1/P2 issues

• Advanced English is a MUST

Roles & Responsibilities
• Responsible for installation, Configuration & managing database servers, and applying security patches & other Patches for upgrading versions of the Oracle database on different platforms.
• Perform High-Availability (clustering), and BCP/Disaster Recovery database solutions and will be providing operations support for mission-critical, high-availability systems.
• Work closely with other engineering and operations teams to ensure proper integration of database infrastructure with other systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to database performance, security, and availability.
• Manage, monitor, and maintain multiple databases to ensure necessary resources are present.
• Implement, manage, and monitor database backups to insure recoverability.
• Implements scripts for database monitoring and automate routine tasks.
• Perform database performance optimization, balancing usability and automation.
• Point of escalation for issues and request for client group.
