Requirements

As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our data infrastructure and pipelines using Databricks. Your expertise in data modeling, database features, and understanding the pros and cons of Databricks will be crucial in ensuring efficient data processing and integration. You should clearly understand the difference between physical and logical data models and be proficient in utilizing Databricks to its fullest potential.
• 3+ years of experience working with Databricks for data engineering and processing tasks.
• Proficiency in SQL for data manipulation, querying, and performance optimization.
• Solid understanding of data modeling concepts and the ability to design and implement efficient data models.
• Experience with ETL and data integration processes, including ingestion, transformation, and loading.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for data storage and processing.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve data-related issues.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience with Liquibase for managing and applying database schema changes.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, Python, or another programming language for enhanced data engineering. capabilities.
