Job Title: Brand and Content Designer.
Purpose: To visually and creatively express Brillamont's needs, identity, values, and mission by designing memorable, consistent, and emotionally engaging content across all platforms, strengthening the school's brand presence, community connection, and storytelling impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Brillamont's visual identity by creating high-quality graphic designs that reflect the school's values, culture, and brand.
- Design a variety of visual content for print, digital, and audiovisual media, including branding assets, marketing materials (ads, digital campaigns, social media content), institutional and academic materials (presentations, signage, murals, stationery), and promotional items (merchandise, invitations, posters).
- Propose and develop creative concepts while respecting the general brand guidelines.
- Create audiovisual content, including motion graphics and animated assets using After Effects and Premiere, to complement communication efforts.
- Support the evolution of Brillamont's branding, bringing fresh ideas and innovation to the school's visual communication.
- Ensure all designs meet high-quality standards, optimizing formats and technical specifications for different platforms (print, web, social media).
- Stay updated on design trends and technologies, contributing new insights and best practices to the team.
- Respond to daily needs and projects of the Communication and Experience team.
Tasks
- Design and adapt visual materials for different platforms, ensuring consistency with Brillamont's brand identity.
- Create digital assets for social media, including static posts, carousels, banners, and animated content.
- Develop print materials such as brochures, posters, invitations, and signage, preparing files for production.
- Design branding elements for merchandise, uniforms, and event materials.
- Produce and edit motion graphics and animated assets using After Effects and Premiere.
- Update and optimize visuals for the school's website (banners, icons, images) as needed.
- Support the creation of presentations and reports, ensuring a visually appealing and professional look.
- Collaborate with the Communication Coordinator to brainstorm creative campaign ideas.
- Manage and organize design files, templates, and assets for easy access and use by the team.
- Research design trends and propose innovative approaches to enhance visual communication.
- Translate requests from other departments into effective visual solutions, ensuring consistency and quality across all communication materials.

Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Marketing, Multimedia Design, or a related field. Additional certifications in Branding, Digital Design, or Creative Content (preferred).
- Experience: 2–4 years of professional experience in brand development, graphic design, or content creation. Experience working with educational institutions, non-profits, or mission-driven organizations (preferred). Portfolio demonstrating ability to create consistent, high-quality brand-aligned visuals across different platforms (mandatory).
- Skills: Proficiency in design software (Adobe Creative Suite: Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign; Canva; Figma or equivalent). Strong understanding of branding principles, visual storytelling, and user-centered design. Ability to design for both print and digital media (social media, newsletters, brochures, promotional materials, etc.). Excellent time management skills to juggle multiple projects and deadlines. Creative thinking combined with strategic brand alignment. Attention to detail and commitment to quality standards. Basic knowledge of video editing and motion graphics (preferred but not required). Familiarity with social media content best practices (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube).
- Language: Proficiency in English and Spanish.

- Visual Content Engagement Rate
- What it measures: Interaction rates (likes, shares, comments, saves) on social media posts, newsletters, and other visual materials.
- Why it matters: High engagement shows that the visual identity and messaging resonate with the Brillamont community. It drives stronger emotional connection, brand loyalty, and school visibility—key for student retention and enrollment efforts.
- Goal: Increase engagement on visual posts by 10–15% quarterly.
- Brand Consistency Score
- What it measures: Percentage of published content that follows Brillamont's official brand guidelines (logos, colors, fonts, messaging tone).
- Why it matters: Consistent branding strengthens Brillamont's credibility and distinctiveness. It helps create a recognizable and trustworthy school identity that leaves a lasting impression with current families, prospective parents, and the broader community.
