Description:MMC is seeking candidates - Jr Database Administration
What can you expect:The compliance team supports database standards and best practice. The role ensures high levels of process and review, adherence to documented policies and support during audits. Responsibilities also include developing & implementing database policies to ensure integrity and availability of databases and their accompanying software. We encourage automation and strive to continually identify improvement opportunities. Candidates can expect many learning opportunities relating to development and alternate database technologies. This will require occasional off-hours support in order to coordinate with global colleagues.

We will count on you for the following responsibilities:Daily operations responsibilities include handling and serving as the team member on the following items/activities:
- Review of audit reports
- Deployment of standardized code and configuration
- Development of scripts and reports
- Oversight of vulnerability patching
- Performing daily database checks
- Review of policy adherence among the larger DBA team
- Continual exposure to learning opportunities
What you need to have: - A minimum of 1 year hands-on IT experience or equivalent education with MSSQL.
- Recent graduates from IT - related fields
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate with global team members and senior stakeholders.
- An aptitude for learning and development of new skills.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work independently and as a team on multiple tasks and commitment to deadlines.
- Strong sense of best practice and standardization.
- Results-focused, methodical approach in the application of policy and procedure.
