Summary:
The Business Systems Analyst 3 is a seasoned professional responsible for analyzing complex
business problems and translating them into effective automated system solutions. This role
provides critical technical expertise in identifying, evaluating, and developing cost-effective systems
and procedures that meet diverse user requirements within a large, international corporate
manufacturing environment. The Analyst will play a key role in supporting projects from conception
through post-implementation, ensuring seamless integration and optimal system utilization across
various functional areas.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
? Business Problem Analysis & Solution Design:
? Analyze complex business problems to be solved with automated systems, primarily
focusing on Engineering, Order Management, Planning, Purchasing, Production
Control, Warehouse, and Shipping functions.
? Provide technical expertise in identifying, evaluating, and developing system
solutions and procedures that are cost-effective and align with user requirements.
? Design detailed specifications for automated systems, contributing to the overall
architecture and functionality.
? Requirements Management & Documentation:
? Work closely with Project Managers, supporting the technical aspects of projects
and understanding core business requirements.
? Assist and guide requesters in accurately filling out necessary documentation,
including process flows, evidence, and other relevant project artifacts.
? Ability to create clear and comprehensive process flows and mapping documents.
? System Configuration, Testing & Validation:
? Configure system settings and options according to business requirements and
technical specifications.
? Plan and execute various stages of testing, including Internal Testing (SIT) and User
Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring solutions meet business needs.
? Analyze and suggest problem resolutions identified during testing or operational use.
? Training & User Support:
? Conduct comprehensive training sessions and provide ongoing support to business
users on implemented systems and processes.
? Foster good relationships among all involved teams to facilitate collaborative
problem-solving and solution delivery.
? Project Lifecycle & Implementation Support:
? Provide essential support before, during, and after the implementation of projects,
ensuring smooth transitions and addressing any issues proactively.
? Actively support all relevant areas during company acquisitions or the establishment
of new plants, ensuring system readiness and integration.
? Continuous Improvement & Leadership:
? Proactively identify opportunities for system and process enhancements, proposing
innovative solutions.
? Contribute to the continuous improvement of business processes and system
functionalities.
? May lead cross-functional linked teams to address complex business or system
issues.
Qualifications:
? Education:
? Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
?
? Experience:
? Minimum of three (3) years of proven experience in a large, international corporate
manufacturing environment, specifically from an Engineering, Order Management,
Planning, Purchasing, or Production Control position.
? Knowledge:
? Advanced English proficiency (both written and verbal).
? Expertise in ERP system modules, with Oracle being highly desirable (covering
Engineering, Order Management, Planning, Purchasing, Receiving, Production Floor
(WIP), Warehouse, Shipping, etc.).
? Strong working knowledge of Office / Google Suite.
? Understanding of Business System Analyst functions is a plus.
? Familiarity with Agile methodologies and EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) is
desirable, but not essential.
? Skills & Competencies:
? High analytical thinking with the ability to analyze and suggest effective problem
resolutions.
? Ability to work under pressure to meet demanding goals and objectives.
? Proactive, responsive, and innovative mindset.
? Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) for effective interaction with all
levels of stakeholders.
? Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain good relationships among all
involved teams.
