At KEMET de México we are seeking a strategic and technically skilled Database Architect to lead the design and implementation of YAGEO's global corporate data model and drive enterprise-wide data and analytics excellence. This role requires expertise in BI governance and data engineering to standardize BI workflows, ensure data quality, and align with YAGEO's data strategy. Collaborating with IT and global teams, you'll foster a data-first culture and support the evolution of YAGEO's Data & Analytics ecosystem.
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in data science, Computer Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, Engineering, or a related field with 5+ years of experience in data engineering projects, data base creation from zero, master data or master quality.
Responsibilities
- Mentor and coach data analysts to enhance reporting efficiency, data pipeline automation and dashboard usability.
- Conduct complex data analyses, extracting insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Drive global strategic projects like data model design, master data, data quality in collaboration with BI and other groups.
- Translate business requirements into scalable dashboards, automated data tools and insightful reports.
- Promote best practices in data management and visualization to improve decision-making across the organization.
Qualifications and Skills
- ?B2 English level.
- Excellent communication abilities.
- Self-managed and self-sufficient.
- Strong SQL, Python, R.
- Visualization Power BI.
- Data modeling.
- Master data management.
- Data governance.
- Familiarity with ETL.
- Data pipelines.
