Its main focus is the general construction project of urban rail transit equipment.

Position: Senior general accountan

We are looking for talented people with studies: In accountant or related with specialization in financial accounting and inventory.

Conocimientos y experiencia:

Minimum of 5 years in accounting functions and inventory control.

At least 3 years in a Senior General Accountant role or similar in medium/large companies.

Certification by the Mexican College of Accountants (IMCP) Desirable

Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skillsBS degree in Accounting, Finance or relevantRelevant certification (e.g. CMA or CPA) will be preferred.

Objetivo General:

Ensuring accuracy and effectiveness in all of our accounting tasks.

Objetivos Específicos y responsabilidades:

?Reconciling account balances and bank statements, maintaining general ledger and preparing month-end close procedures.

Accounting & Financial Reporting

Process journal entries and accounting records in accordance with NIF and IFRS.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Perform bank and account reconciliations; file and archive supporting documents.

 Cost Control & Inventory Management

Oversee inventory transactions and conduct periodic stock counts.

Analyze cost variances and recommend optimization measures.

Manage cost centers and monitor budget adherence.

Treasury & Cash Flow Management

Develop cash forecasts and ensure sufficient liquidity.

Manage banking relationships and coordinate financing operations.

Monitor and mitigate foreign exchange risks.

Tax Compliance

Ensure compliance with tax obligations (VAT, ISR, withholdings).

Coordinate and prepare tax filings in collaboration with advisors and authorities.

Maintain up-to-date tax documentation.

Internal Control & Compliance

Design and review internal policies and procedures to mitigate risks.

Conduct regular internal audits and follow up on findings.

Ensure adherence to local regulations and international standards.

Active participation in internal and external audits.

 External Relations

Liaise with tax authorities, external auditors, and financial institutions.

Facilitate and support audit and review processes.

Other Assigned Tasks

Assist with special projects or additional duties as required by management.

Technical Skills:

Microsoft Office

High operational proficiency in SAP or another ERP.

Inventory management: recording, valuation, and periodic reconciliations.

Proficiency in Mexican Accounting Standards (NIF) and IFRS.

Preparation and analysis of financial statements.

Excellent analytical skills with a thorough knowledge of accounting principles to analyze financial reports and forecasts.
