Who are we?
Efficiency Matters Corporation S.A. de C.V. (EMCO), a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) company specializing in various public infrastructure projects such as LED street lighting, water treatment, waste treatment and waste-to-energy recovery, renewable energy, and other public constructions, is seeking a practical, detail-oriented, and proactive Supply Chain Coordinator to join our dynamic team.

This position offers the opportunity to manage a broad scope of supply chain responsibilities, including international sourcing, logistics, inventory, and customs coordination.
Your Responsibilities
· Coordinate the full supply chain process from material sourcing and procurement to delivery and warehousing.
· Understand product requirements by working with the Product Development Team and Project Teams to source items that meet technical specifications without overcomplicating the project scope.
· Evaluate and compare product alternatives to select materials that balance cost, quality, and delivery time for maximum project profitability.
· Communicate effectively with both local and overseas suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective purchasing.
· Maintain active communication with customs brokers to guarantee accurate HS code classification and prevent misclassification, fines, and customs delays.
· Prepare and verify necessary import documents such as certificates of origin, NOMs, lab tests, and compliance certifications for customs clearance.
· Track shipments from order placement to delivery, ensuring goods arrive on time and in good condition.
· Maintain and update supplier database and material pricing for reference and future purchasing decisions.
· Monitor warehouse inventory and coordinate material deliveries to align with project schedules and avoid overstock or material shortages.
· Work with Project Management and Finance Teams to develop procurement plans, shipping forecasts, and material usage reports.
· Identify risks in logistics or compliance and proactively solve problems before they impact project execution.
· Prepare clear documentation of purchase orders, shipping logs, customs documentation, and vendor performance.
· Suggest improvements to streamline procurement, customs processing, and delivery tracking.
· Learn continuously about changing customs regulations, logistics strategies, and new vendors to ensure strong supply chain performance.
· Communicate effectively with internal teams and external vendors in English and stay updated on global market and trade practices.
You are part of
A key support function in EMCO's supply chain operations, playing a critical role in delivering the materials and equipment that make our infrastructure projects possible. You will ensure that cost-efficient, timely, and compliant supply chain practices are maintained at all times. You will directly report to the COO of the company.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience.
· Bachelor's in Supply Chain Management preferred, or related fields such as International Trade, Logistics, Engineering, or Business, with proven experience in end-to-end supply chain operations.
· Minimum of 2–3 years of relevant experience in supply chain or procurement coordination.
· Strong understanding of customs processes, HS code classification, and Mexican import regulations.
· Experience working with customs brokers and solving import-related delays.
· Excellent cost-awareness and ability to assess tradeoffs between quality, price, and delivery.
· Strong communication and negotiation skills with suppliers, brokers, and internal teams.
· Working proficiency in English (spoken and written) for supplier communication and technical documentation.
· Solid command of Excel and experience with inventory management tools.
· Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
· Willingness to travel occasionally to supplier sites, warehouses, or customs offices.
· Proactive, reliable, and capable of working under time pressure.
Position Offers
· Base Salary: $20,000 - 26,000MXN per month.
· Food and restaurant vouchers.
· Gasoline allowance.
· Benefits superior to those of the law.
· A definite contract with a 3 month of probation period.
