Position Summary

?

• Maintenance and development of long-term supplier relationships both locally and internationally
• Development of new sourcing opportunities locally and internationally – with a focus on North and South America
• Creation of framework supply and tool contracts
• Active supplier and risk management to ensure quality, pricing, and delivery performance. Creation of quality agreements and planning and conducting supplier audits
• Monitoring of orders/demand planning and purchasing of parts to ensure production, including the issuance of purchase orders, associated prices, payment terms, and lead times
• Maintenance of master data and orders in the system - prices, suppliers, contracts, pickup dates, and arrival dates
• Monitoring and tracking of international transports and shipments in transit/import documentation - in coordination with customs. Ensuring timely pickups
• Development and implementation of cost reduction programs
• Preparation of expense reports by project or by area
• Open and regular communication with the headquarters in Germany.
