Global company of components and thermal management systems for the automotive industry are looking for a Plant Manager, who will responsible for the end-to-end management of the site, overseeing production, maintenance, quality, engineering, while driving operational excellence and strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Direct daily plant operations, including production, quality, maintenance, and engineering.
Ensure achievement of KPIs: safety, quality, on-time delivery (OTD), cost, and efficiency.
Collaborate with advanced manufacturing and engineering teams to drive continuous improvement and technology implementation.
Manage operational budgets, cost reduction initiatives, and inventory control.
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental (EHS), and local regulatory standards.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement through Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and 5S principles.
Serve as the main liaison between the Mexico plant and the global corporate offices (China/USA).
Oversee talent development
Represent the plant during customer and third-party audits (e.g., IATF 16949, ISO 14001).
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electromechanical Engineering, or related field.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in the automotive industry, with at least 5 years in management roles.
Solid knowledge of manufacturing processes for mechanical components (valves, pumps, machining, assembly).
Strong experience with automotive quality systems (IATF 16949).
Advanced English (required); Mandarin is a plus.
Proficiency in ERP systems and data tools (Excel, Power BI).
Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and intercultural communication skills.
