Drive the identification, negotiation, and onboarding of strategic fintech suppliers (e.g., KYC/KYB providers, credit bureaus, data services, payment processors), ensuring seamless integration into the company's financial technology infrastructure. This role is key to enabling new digital financial products by bridging commercial goals with compliance and technical execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify, evaluate, and prioritize fintech suppliers that align with the company's product roadmap and regulatory requirements.
Lead commercial negotiations and manage legal documentation, including NDAs, MSAs, SLAs, and data-sharing agreements.
Coordinate cross-functional teams (legal, compliance, tech) to ensure smooth integration of providers, including sandbox testing, API alignment, and security validation.
Oversee supplier onboarding from a project management perspective, tracking deliverables, timelines, and risk.
Ensure all required documentation (KYC/KYB, data protection compliance, certifications) is obtained and verified.
Analyze the performance of integrated services and provide recommendations for optimization.
Explore opportunities for co-development of fintech solutions with third-party vendors.
Maintain a pulse on the fintech ecosystem to identify emerging providers and technologies.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, or related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in business development, fintech integrations, or partner onboarding.
Familiarity with fintech services such as identity verification, credit scoring, fraud prevention, or transaction processing.
Strong understanding of regulatory compliance (e.g., AML, data privacy, financial reporting) and its implications on partnerships.
Hands-on experience managing API-based integrations and working alongside product/tech teams.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in English (spoken and written), intermediate to advanced level.
Ability to manage multiple suppliers and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a B2B fintech startup, neobank, digital lender, or financial infrastructure company.
Knowledge of API documentation tools and agile project management platforms (Postman, Notion, Jira).
Understanding of Latin American regulatory environments and financial ecosystems.
