JOB SUMMARY:
Takes any necessary actions to make sure that a product or service will satisfy customer requirements and is the driving force in implementing continuous quality improvement, with a coordination role (hierarchical or functional) of quality manufacturing/logistics assurance engineers and sometimes quality control teams.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
a. In charge of the Quality of one or several production sector
b. Ensure that the Process Control Plan is applied
c. Lead continuous improvement on its production line
d. Lead root cause analysis of quality issue and Problem solving
e. Be a member of the Short Interval Management of the production line
f. Create and maintain quality control documentation
g. Lead Process Audits and Process Failure Mode & Effect Analysis (FMEA)
h. Provide inputs and challenge about quality for new product or product evolution (PMP and PEP)
i. Manage derogation
j. Be the local expert of the assembled products in his sector
k. Management (hierarchical or functional) of the QCT/QCS, and QAT4
l. Manage his team according to SPS / SIM rules and cycle event of the plant
Qualifications
EDUCATION
A four-year degree in Engineering or a related field of study plus a minimum of six years of direct job experience In Quality Assurance.
Experience
Have at least 4 - 6 years of experience in the CAPA system, Root Cause Analysis and / or related system.
ü Knowledge of Quality Improvement methodologies and related statistical tools and techniques.
ü Knowledge of process sheets and control plan, measuring instruments, statistical techniques, metrology, JIT, Lean Manufacturing, Six sigma, and other SPC quality tools
ü Ability to communicate with all levels of personnel and customers.
ü Ability to work in a large, global corporate structure
ü Self-starter. Ability to solve problems, take responsibility and deliver results with a spirit of innovation and strong commitment to excellence.
ü Fluent with formal Quality System standards such as the ISO 9000 series of requirements.
ü Fluency in English and Spanish required (read, write, and speak).
ü Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
ü Manage large and difficult projects. Data of Recipients Only
ü Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
ü Proficiency in use of MS Office Software - advanced Power Point skills required.
