REQUIRED EDUCATION:

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field.
• Advanced training or certification in production planning or inventory control is a plus.
• Courses in logistics, lean manufacturing, or operations management are beneficial.
• Understanding of ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) preferred.
• Further education in technical or textile production is advantageous
• Strong English Language communication skills written and conversational (Advance Level). German Language would be likeable but it is optional.

POSITION OBJETIVE:

• Ensure optimal production scheduling to meet customer demands and internal efficiency targets.
• Coordinate and control material flow and inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstock.
• Improve communication and alignment between purchasing, warehouse, and production departments.
• Analyze and optimize supply chain processes, including forecasting and order planning.
• Maintain up-to-date data and reporting structures for inventory and material status

RESPONSABILITIES:

• Develop and manage production plans based on customer orders and capacity availability.
• Monitor and control inventory levels to ensure production continuity while minimizing costs.
• Coordinate material requirements with suppliers and internal departments.
• Analyze production and inventory KPIs and implement corrective actions when deviations occur.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within production and logistics.
• Ensure ERP/MRP systems are updated with accurate lead times, stock levels, and order status.
• Plan and prioritize material deliveries in line with production needs.
• Report shortages or delays proactively and find alternate sourcing solutions if required.
• Liaise with quality and engineering to ensure materials meet specifications.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics planning when necessary.

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in production planning or material control.
• Previous work within textile, automotive, packaging, or general manufacturing industries.
• Familiarity with maquiladora production environments.
• Experience in demand planning and inventory optimization.
• Proven track record managing material shortages and supplier delays.
