Regional Sales Manager – Industrial Automation
What are we looking for?
We're seeking a commercially driven leader with deep technical insight in industrial automation. Someone who not only understands sales strategy but also speaks the language of robotics, smart manufacturing, and automation technology. This role is a key growth driver—more than a manager, we want a market builder.
Your mission:
You will lead the growth of a strategic region, managing a technical sales team focused on automation, robotics, and industrial innovation. Your role is to identify opportunities, drive client engagement, and deliver smart solutions that move our customers toward Industry 4.0. You'll represent a new era of value-based selling, where understanding client challenges is just as important as closing the deal.
Key responsibilities:
- Design and execute a data-driven sales plan to exceed revenue and margin goals in your region.
- Identify and develop opportunities in key sectors such as manufacturing, automotive, electronics, logistics, or food processing.
- Act as a consultative partner for customers, offering tailored technical solutions that optimize their operations.
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing technical sales team.
- Analyze market performance, customer feedback, and business metrics to adapt strategy and ensure results.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Marketing, and Supply Chain to ensure technically and commercially viable solutions.
Your profile:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Automation, Industrial Engineering, Electronics or a related technical field. MBA preferred.
- At least 10 years of B2B sales experience, with 5+ years leading high-performance sales teams.
- Proven track record in industrial automation, robotics, or complex technical sales.
- Ability to lead full-cycle technical sales processes: prospecting, solution design, proposal development, and negotiation.
- Strong analytical mindset with experience managing commercial KPIs and technical P&L.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
