GENERAL FUNCTION

As an analyst within Billing & Credit, you will strengthen analytical and financial processing skills while having the opportunity to demonstrate creativity. This role is involved in a wide range of analysis over billing, collection, cash application. This role develops key analytic capabilities for future expansion into other finance areas such as FP&A.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· 90% Accurately and efficiently process client self-bill files and/or incoming payments to customer invoices/accounts.

· Researches and resolves data issues through coordination and communication with internal and external clients and team members.

· Communicates with team lead and manager, team members, and clients regarding issues in a timely manner and escalates as necessary.

· Partner with collection in preparation of write off analyses

· Identifies and recommends the systems/process modification necessary to improve efficiency and effectiveness as it relates to the cash apply process.

· Provides strong customer service with internal and external clients.10% Support special projects and analyses across overall bill/collection/cash application.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Preferred Bachelors degree or higher in Business, Finance or Accounting

· 2+ years relevant professional finance experience

· Experience in billing and collection and/or strong accounting and analytic capabilities, o related experience

· Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, across and up in the organization

· Outstanding analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail

· Ability to understand a problem, structure the necessary analysis and develop solutions

· Highly motivated and self-directed, results driven, pro-active attitude
