Visión general

It is responsible for applying the methods and procedures for determining the parameters of each of the materials involved in the preparation of pastes, glazes and plaster molds for the manufacture of ceramic furniture.

Responsabilidades

• Release of raw materials according to established methods.
• Clearly define when a raw material is rejected.
• Send the clear and necessary information to the departments involved when a rejection of Raw Material or by-product occurs.
• Send information via email or verbally to the departments involved and to the ceramic laboratory coordinator when a byproduct is out of specifications or approved by the ceramic laboratory.
• Give timely notice when a material cannot be used in the process by determining parameters that are out of specifications.
• Generate and maintain adequate and relevant information for analysis and decision making to find root causes of a problem.
• Analysis, data management and interpretation of results for the preparation of technical reports.
• Participate in the development and maintenance of the quality management system.
• Promote safe working conditions and operate under the safety standards and procedures established by the company.
• Attend internal and external audits of quality, safety and others.

Requisitios

Knowledge:

• Laboratory equipment

• Testing and sampling of raw materials.

• Chemical concepts

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel and Power Point.

Education:

• Chemical Engineer and/or related.

Experience:

• 2 years of experience in similar positions.Skills:
