Descripción
A confidential company within the manufacturing industry is seeking an experienced FP&A Analyst to join its finance team in Monterrey. This role is key in strategic financial planning, forecasting, and operational analysis. If you have a strong background in manufacturing finance and a passion for driving data-based decisions, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
- Develop and maintain financial forecasts, budgets, and strategic financial plans.
- Conduct variance analysis to understand trends and key drivers of performance.
- Collaborate with various departments to monitor and manage operating expense budgets.
- Provide insights into revenue forecasting and working capital (inventory, receivables).
Month-End Close & Reporting
- Support the month-end close process and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Prepare management reports, KPIs, and dashboards.
- Reconcile inventory, accounts receivable, and other working capital metrics.
- Build executive-level presentations in PowerPoint summarizing financial performance.
Data Analysis & Process Optimization
- Use Power BI and other tools to enhance reporting and decision-making.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive financial process improvements.
- Support scenario modeling and improve forecast accuracy.
Operational & Logistics Support
- Partner with supply chain and operations to analyze the financial impact of freight, logistics, and inventory.
- Monitor cost drivers affecting profitability and cash flow.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 5–10+ years of FP&A experience, preferably in manufacturing.
- Strong skills in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modeling.
- Deep understanding of working capital management (inventory, A/R).
- Experience with month-end close and financial reporting processes.
- Proficiency in Power BI, Excel, and executive-level financial presentations.
- Experience with ERP systems (especially JDE or SAP).
- Knowledge of freight and logistics costing is a strong plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to present to senior leadership.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required.
