Job Description:
HPE Aruba Networking M&A Integration PMO team is a small group of talented and fun individuals who program-manage integrations of external acquisitions or internal business units into Aruba Business Unit and HPE, as well as Aruba's various strategic and compliance programs such as Business Continuity Planning, Records Retention and others.
Our team is a part of Transformation & PMO organization and reports to the Transformation PMO VP and Chief of Staff to EVP & GM of Aruba. The team works directly with HPE's senior executives to define, analyze, and shape HPE's overall M&A or internal integration strategy, and ensure the operational and financial targets of each program are fully realized.
The Aruba Integration Program Manager will be part of HPE Aruba Networking M&A Integration PMO team, reporting to a Sr. Manager while supporting the broader IMO (Integration Management Office) Leaders across one or more integrations. This individual will be responsible for all operational and process management support required to integrate a business into Aruba , including facilitating cross-functional interlock meetings with 20+ workstreams, creating and managing detailed Integration Plans of Record, Project Managing smaller initiatives/projects within a program as needed, and building and maintaining repeatable tools and templates (Excel, PPT, Smartsheet, MS Forms) to ensure consistency and continuous IMO improvement. Other responsibilities may include leading a Compliance program or other smaller initiatives as needed.
The HPE integration processes are highly matrixed, with subject matter experts from all relevant functions working at the direction of the IMO/ Program manager. This individual must demonstrate strong project management, communication, problem solving, and influencing skills to work effectively with stakeholders across work streams, business units, and geographies. Dealing effectively with ambiguity, high pressure, and time constraints is a requirement.
Management Level Definition:
Unique mastery and recognized authority on relevant subject matter knowledge including technologies, theories and techniques. Contributes to the development of innovative principles and ideas. Successfully operates in the most complex disciplines, in which the company must operate to be successful. Provides highly innovative solutions. Leads large, cross-division functional teams or projects that affect the organization's long-term goals and objectives. May participate in cross-division, multi-function teams. Provides mentoring and guidance to lower level employees. Routinely exercises independent judgment in developing methods, techniques and criteria for achieving objectives. Develops strategy and sets functional policy and direction. Acts as a functional manager within area of expertise but does not manage other employees as a primary job function.

Typically 10+ years total experience in strategy, planning, operations, finance, or related functional area. Advanced university degree required (e.g., MBA) or demonstrable equivalent experience.

Key Responsibilities:
- Project Manage M&A Integration for acquisitions, divestitures and other strategic projects, as part of Integration Management Office and with the guidance from IMO and Executive Steering Committee Leads
- Develop, maintain, and track Integration Plans of Record for interim operating models and Business Day 1 execution
- Proactively mitigate integration risk, monitor program status, and triage / resolve issues swiftly
- Develop governance process and communication plans to keep Integration stakeholders updated
- Develop and maintain integration success metrics and recommend strategy to address performance gaps
- Lead some compliance initiatives for HPE Aruba Networking, such as Business Continuity Planning, Records Retention Program, and Enterprise Risk Management
- Establish and nurture partnerships with stakeholders in the businesses and global functions
- Develop structured integration frameworks, playbooks, and retrospectives
About you:
Typically 10+ years total experience in strategy, planning, operations, finance, or related functional area. Advanced university degree required (e.g., MBA) or demonstrable equivalent experience.
- Excellent project management skills, including leading multiple large, time-sensitive and cross-functional initiatives that impact the organization.
- Leadership skills, including team building, conflict resolution, and management.
- Superior business acumen and technical knowledge within area of responsibility, including HPE L2C processes and tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including negotiation and influence skills.
- Excellent relationship management skills, including partnering and consulting.
