Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to join our automotive metal mechanic plant. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of managerial experience in the automotive industry, with a strong focus on welding processes (SPOT, MIG, TIG, Laser), quality management standards (VDA, IATF16949), and GD&T. The candidate should also have a track record of working with premium OEMs such as Audi, BMW, Daimler, VW, and Mercedes-Benz. Experience in chassis and metal stamping processes would be a significant advantage.

- Quality Management: Oversee and manage all aspects of quality control and assurance in the automotive metal mechanic plant.
- Welding Expertise: Utilize your expertise in various welding techniques including SPOT, MIG, TIG, and Laser to ensure the highest quality welds in automotive components.
- Certification Knowledge: Maintain and enhance the plant's certifications, including VDA and IATF16949 standards, to meet and exceed customer requirements.
- GD&T Implementation: Apply your knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) to ensure that all automotive parts meet design specifications.
- Supplier Relationship: Build and maintain strong relationships with premium OEMs such as Audi, BMW, Daimler, VW, and Mercedes-Benz to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Process Improvement: Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and efficiency enhancement within the manufacturing processes.
- Team Leadership: Lead a team of quality control professionals, providing guidance, training, and development to ensure high performance and quality standards are met.
- Chassis and Metal Stamping (Preferred): If applicable, leverage your experience in chassis and metal stamping processes to enhance product quality and production efficiency.
- Data Analysis: Utilize data analysis tools to monitor and report on quality metrics, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant automotive industry regulations and standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial role within the automotive industry
- Expertise in welding processes, including SPOT, MIG, TIG, and Laser
- Knowledge of quality management standards such as VDA and IATF16949.
- Strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Proven experience working with premium OEMs (Audi, BMW, Daimler, VW, Mercedes-Benz) as a supplier.
- Experience in chassis and metal stamping processes (a plus).
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
