Cost Analyst

Mission: Manage and maintain cost accounting procedures, methods and all the activities related to product costing and inventory valuation to provide valuable analysis and recommendations to the facility.

Responsibilities

- Set and follow absorption rates for inventory valuation.

- Analysis of productives purchase price variance to identify gaps vs the forecast and report them to the facility.

- Responsible of monitoring the bill of material, correcting costing errors, identifying and reconciliate variations with the team.

- Support the controller with monthly and quarterly forecasts, annual operating plan.

- Prepare variance analysis for raw materials.

Requirements

Bachelors degree in accounting or finance.

Experience in manufacturing cost accounting environment, working with standard costing, bill of materials, inventories control, financial analysis and KPIs related to manufacturing cost.
