Management trainee - Accounting Specialist

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post manual journal entries (e.g., provisions and accruals).
• Prepare and upload daily exchange rates.
• Reconcile bank statements and clear open items.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts.
• Perform and ensure month-end close tasks are completed accurately and on time.
• Prepare and present balance sheet variance analysis to the client's Controller.
• Ensure Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are properly documented, updated, and approved by the client.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure compliance with SOPs and client policies.
• Identify and implement process improvements.
• Prepare and deliver training for new team members.

Preferred Candidate Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• Fluency in both Spanish and English.
• Experience using SAP.
• Proficient with Excel (including formulas and pivot tables).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with North American or Latin American markets.
