Kiewit Mexico is looking for a Field Engineer with expertise in piping large bore and small bore steam turbine. As a Field Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing project teams to ensure the successful execution of large construction projects. This role is important because: Know and understand the codes, specifications, procedures, drawings applicable to the project. To be able to read drawings, P & IDs, schemes that define the Project.

As a Field Engineer, you will uphold Kiewit's high standard of safety and quality while executing your responsibilities. You will work closely with the construction team to ensure effective and efficient project execution from start to finish. With your expertise in piping large bore and small bore steam turbines, you will make a significant contribution to our projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead piping installations ensuring quality workmanship and safety.
• Direct and oversee the work carried out by construction teams and subcontractors.
• Review and interpret piping drawings and specifications.
• Monitor progress and ensure project milestones are met.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and quality standards.
• Ensure proper installation of materials and equipment.
• Coordinate and facilitate project meetings with all stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in large construction projects, with a focus on piping large bore and small bore steam turbines in combined cycle plants
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
• Knowledge of safety and quality standards in the construction industry.
• Ability to collaborate with and influence cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
