Controls Engineer Jr. Opportunity
We currently have an opening for a Controls Engineer Jr. at Android- Mexico, Silao, Guanajuato Plant
Our goal is to develop Controls Engineering workforce promoting the most qualified team member for the job.
Job description
The Controls engineer Jr. is a support for the Controls engineer Senior for the everyday activities, consisting of troubleshooting the problems that occur during production and to develop improvement projects. The Controls Eng jr. is an individual in continuous training on the technical principles and the processes for the operation of the systems and equipment, the Controls jr. Eng. does not have direct responsibility on the decisions making and will always support the Controls engineer Sr. The ultimate goal is that the engineer jr will become a Sr. engineer.
Responsibilities • Support Controls Engineer on the daily activities • Understand the basic theory of industrial controls systems. • Attend required shifts as needed
Skills and Qualifications • Bachelor Engineering degree on Mechatronic, Electronic, automotive manufacturing, or Robotics. • Basic knowledge on programs C, C++, Siemens (Tia Portal), Allen Bradley (Studio 5000), Vision Systems Cognex, Visual Basic. • Basic knowledge on Fanuc robot programming • Microsoft Office tools experience required. • Understanding basic theory of automated assembly systems, basic theory of industrial control systems applications, design, and operation including concepts of power distribution. • Potentially capable of performing the following manufacturing engineering functions: Tooling, process & layout design; quality engineering, ergonomics and safety. • Bilingual (English, Spanish) is a must.
Preferred Qualifications • Personal skills include ability to work well with others, team spirit, flexibility with personal, schedule to meet deadlines and support business travel. • Strong troubleshooting skills • Willing to be developed. • Non-experience required (periods of practices in the industry desired) • Capacity to work on different projects simultaneously. • Able to support all shifts as required (night shift, day shift and week ends)
