Position Summary

This position will serve a key role in the industrialization of new and challenging product lines in our site. In this role you will be the technical implementor interface between equipment, machine integrator and several functions requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Modification and development of PLC programs for production equipment and End of Line Testers.
• Support technical discussions with external/internal departments.
• Provide proposals for plant system improvement. (I 4.0 Initiatives, Cost improvements, Etc.)
• Cooperation with development departments to support improvement of traceability, process metrics, machine data acquisition Etc.)
• Coordinate the management of predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance.
• Maintain project schedules, provide regular project updates, maintain contact with project staff.
• Debug and test PLC and HMI software.
• Sustain, record, and manage changes in PLC programs and related applications.
• Coordination of technical training and mentoring to technicians.

Qualifications:

• B.E., Mechatronics, Electronics or Automatization Engineer.
• PLC Programming (Siemens) TIA Portal, HMI's, Vision systems (Cognex, Keyence, Etc.) movement control, robotics (KUKA preferred).
• Familiar with programming languages & platforms.
• Industrial Networks.
• Knowledge about functional testing (process & programming).
• Traceability systems.
• Desirable knowledge of the IATF 16949 norm.
• Root cause analysis methodology (8D's, PDCA, A3).
• Conversational English.
