We are looking for a talented Senior Controls Engineer. to join our team specialized in ENGINEERING for our MANUFACTURING SUPPLY in Ciudad Juárez, CHIHUAHUA., MEXICO.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

• Develops all aspects of control systems, equipment and machinery.
• Develops and designs control systems; develops and implements bench tests; alters software and equipment to ensure that sensors and actuators work according to specifications; Supports and debugs complex change requests and issues.
• Prepares cost estimates, collects required cost and equipment information, and writes and reviews assignment requests.
• Investigates project problems and requirements, and develops solution plans in line with economic, personnel, and environmental considerations.
• May be responsible for installation and technical support of programmable logic controller (PLC) hardware and software.
• Trains and mentors less experienced control engineers.

To be successful in this position, you will need the following:

• Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Mechanics, Metal Mechanics or related
• A basic level of relevant experience is required.
• Verifiable knowledge in Allen Bradley and Siemens PLC programming, Ethernet/IP communication, DeviceNet, Profinet, Profibus, CIP safety (Indispensable).
• Design and programming of man-machine interfaces (Indispensable).
• Knowledge of manipulation and programming of 6-axis robots (FANUC and YASKAWA preferably).
• Verifiable knowledge of database management (data transactions using SQL commands).
• Monitoring and follow-up of development activities, maintains information flow between shifts.
• Prepare development plans for improvements and new projects with time line.
• Knowledge of Vision Systems (Installation and development of new inspections, adjustments and fault diagnosis).
• Ability to analyze equipment failures (Troubleshooting).
• Leadership and decision making
• support and guidance in technical development
• Good communication and negotiation between departments.
