Position:Internal Project Manager - Media & Community Operations

About the Role:Our client is seeking a proactive and organized Internal Project Manager to support the day-to-day operations of a fast-growing media business.
This is a fully internal role focused on keeping content workflows and internal projects on track. You'll serve as the bridge between editors, designers, and internal leads-ensuring tasks are completed, content is published, and nothing falls through the cracks.
Approximately 80% of the role focuses on media project management and content production, while the remaining 20% supports admin, hiring, and internal community operations.

Key Responsibilities:- Manage timelines and workflows for video production and content publishing
- Keep editors, designers, and other contributors aligned and on schedule
- Post finalized content (e.g., YouTube videos) to the appropriate platforms
- Coordinate with freelance designers and vendors to meet publishing deadlines
- Track weekly social KPIs and performance metrics
- Handle internal hiring logistics (e.g., posting jobs, scheduling interviews)
- Process freelancer/vendor payments and maintain records in accounting software
- Support internal admin tasks, project work, and community operations as needed
Requirements:- 2-5 years of experience in project coordination, operations, or similar role
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Comfortable working independently in a remote-first environment
- Confident using tools like Google Workspace, Slack, and project management platforms
- Available to work during Pacific Time or overlapping U.S. business hours, Monday-Friday
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:- Experience working with content or media teams (e.g., YouTube workflows)
- Familiarity with freelance or remote creative team dynamics
- Experience supporting admin or community ops in a startup or media company
- Basic knowledge of accounting tools or payment processes
