Description\r
Amazon is seeking bright, motivated, hardworking individuals to fill Receive Clerk positions at our fulfillment center. The Clerk is responsible for scheduling all inbound inventory shipments, resolve any carrier issues, and file delivery receipts and process claims. In addition, the Receive Clerk will assist Dock and Receive associates to sustain the incoming workflow within the inbound department.\r

Work Environment\r
• Work with and/or around moving mechanical parts.\r
• Noise level varies and can be loud.\r
• Temperature in the fulfillment center may vary between 15 and 35 degrees, and will occasionally exceed 35 degrees.\r
• Fast paced environment.\r
\r
Job Elements\r
• Schedule incoming freight and close appointments daily after arrival. \r
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and a steady flow into the Delivery Station. \r
• Ensure all incoming unit counts are correct and note when they are not. \r
• Communicate with security to allow incoming deliveries into the truck yard. \r
• Accountable for the management of baled corrugate and full pallet trailers. \r
• Monitor Inventory Scheduling (Days of Freight Pushed, i.e. appointments are not scheduled during requested appointment times). \r
• File signed delivery receipts. \r
• Process OS&D (Overages, Shorts, and Damages) claims. \r
• Understand and follow all dock processes. \r
• Responsible for removing barriers for dock associates. \r
• Create and communicate a schedule of incoming shipments for the Inbound Management Team.\r
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience
- Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
- Can lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
- Work 40 hours/week, and overtime as required

- High school or equivalent
