The main responsibilities are to:

• Lead the finance and administration department, overseeing staff performance, roles, and policy implementation.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, tax, and environmental regulations, including corporate books and legal documentation.
• Manage relationships with external consultants, auditors, financial institutions, and government entities.
• Oversee financial planning, budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and cost control to support strategic decisions.
• Deliver timely and accurate financial and operational reports, including P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, and profitability analysis to headquarters.
• Participate in executive meetings to present performance insights, gap analyses, and action plans.
• Drive initiatives to improve operational efficiency and support corporate budgeting and target-setting processes.
• Implement accounting policies and ensure adherence to new or revised standards.
• Supervise fund management, working capital (inventory, receivables, payables), and monitor overdue accounts.
• Support sales teams by evaluating financial risks and contractual terms during client negotiations.

Profile

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience of at least 5 years in a similar role.
• Experience of leading a team of around 10 people.
• Knowledge of corporate accounting practices.
• Knowledge of legal accounting and taxes requirements in Mexico.
• Strong leadership, organizational and communications skills.
• Analytic capacity and problem-solving skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Continuing education to fulfill responsibilities dictated by role.
