Language Instructor – Higher Education

A higher education institution is seeking qualified English language instructors to join its academic team.

Required Profile:

Academic Background:

• Bachelor's degree in English Language Teaching, English Language, or in Languages.

Teaching Experience:

• At least 3 years of total experience, including:
• 2 years teaching English to adults or at the higher education level.
• 1 year teaching Business English.
• Strong knowledge of didactic principles and English language teaching methodologies, particularly within the communicative and lexical approaches.
• Proficiency in English at C1 level, with solid understanding of the phonological, lexico-semantic, and morpho-syntactic systems of the English language.

Professional Requirements:

• Proof of certification in a second language is mandatory for teaching English courses. Acceptable certifications include: TOEFL, TOEIC, BEC, FCE, TEACHERS, CELE, or others.

Teaching Experience (Detailed):

• Minimum of 5 years teaching at the higher education level in both in-person and virtual learning environments.

Required Competencies:

• Quantitative analysis
• Effective communication and teamwork
• Proficiency in technological platforms (e.g., LMS, intranet, spreadsheets)
• Upper-intermediate English (minimum B2 level) for oral and written comprehension and production

Work Modality:

• On-site / Hybrid / Virtual (to be specified based on institutional need)
• Availability for part-time or hourly collaboration
