A higher education institution is seeking qualified English language instructors to join its academic team.
Required Profile:
Academic Background:
Bachelor's degree in English Language Teaching, English Language, or in Languages.
Teaching Experience:
At least 3 years of total experience, including:
2 years teaching English to adults or at the higher education level.
1 year teaching Business English.
Strong knowledge of didactic principles and English language teaching methodologies, particularly within the communicative and lexical approaches.
Proficiency in English at C1 level, with solid understanding of the phonological, lexico-semantic, and morpho-syntactic systems of the English language.
Professional Requirements:
Proof of certification in a second language is mandatory for teaching English courses. Acceptable certifications include: TOEFL, TOEIC, BEC, FCE, TEACHERS, CELE, or others.
Teaching Experience (Detailed):
Minimum of 5 years teaching at the higher education level in both in-person and virtual learning environments.
Required Competencies:
Quantitative analysis
Effective communication and teamwork
Proficiency in technological platforms (e.g., LMS, intranet, spreadsheets)
Upper-intermediate English (minimum B2 level) for oral and written comprehension and production
Work Modality:
On-site / Hybrid / Virtual (to be specified based on institutional need)
Availability for part-time or hourly collaboration
