You're a customer-obsessed, user-centric, design-thinking specialist professional rooted in cognitive psychology-based UX principles. This role is a catalyst for transforming ideas into compelling and user-centric design realities. This role is a remote, full-time position, and reports to Episource's Product Development, Head of Design.

A dynamic fusion of collaboration and multidisciplinary innovation awaits, perfect for those seamlessly embodying both "thinker" and "builder" identities.
- Partner with a passion. Bridge design and engineering, guide and coach technically. Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to pioneer innovative healthcare SaaS and coding solutions. Partner with a researcher, using Pendo for feedback. Make data-informed design decisions, measuring the transformative impact of your work. Your role blends creativity with technical excellence, propelling groundbreaking healthcare solutions.
- Showcase your UI / UX design expertise. Leveraging your design system development expertise, you'll bring design visions to life with a range of deliverables-experience maps, storyboards, wireframes, user personas, and interactive prototypes. Help shape our design system with style guides, UI components, and specifications for swift development and consistency across products.
- Serve as a user experience subject matter expert. Pull from a breadth of expertise in UX methodologies across all phases of the product development process: discovery, research, design, build, iteration, and analysis. Utilize research to understand complex human behavior by getting to the root of a problem. Solve a wide range of product, and user problems, not just design aesthetics problems
What your journey at Episource will look like:
- In your first three months at Episource, you'll swiftly integrate into our vibrant culture, acquainting yourself with tools, products, and team dynamics. You'll analyze the product workflow, pinpoint improvement opportunities, and forge vital relationships, gaining insight into the design team's processes, encompassing research, Figma, and our design system.
- Throughout the next few months at Episource, you'll embark on insightful analysis, foster effective collaboration, and spearhead user research and workshops to unveil impactful product design solutions. Drive the identification of opportunities, craft meticulous design project plans, and refine personas and experience maps. Adhere to atomic design principles, weaving them into the fabric of UI comps.
- By the end of your first 12 months at Episource, you'll craft a robust design blueprint and contribute to our evolving design system. Additionally, you'll drive collaboration between engineering and product teams, integrate feedback for continuous improvement, and actively shape our design roadmap.
What you will bring to the Expert Teams at Episource:
- Proficiency with design, wireframing/prototyping tools like Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.
- A wealth of hands-on expertise with WCAG requirements, ADA compliance, and best practices to advocate for inclusive design for all users
- Experience with Material UI, Bootstrap, responsive design, and accessibility
- Practical knowledge of accessibility best practices, WCAG 2.0 AA compliance, and ARI
- Mastery of design tokens, semantic versioning, and name-spacing
- Superior communication skills
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Exceptional knack for finding solutions: creative problem-solver
- An online portfolio or samples of relevant work
- Solid knowledge of healthcare SaaS, research, AI/ML/NLP technologies
