Eaton's ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Specification Engineer.
What you'll do:
PRIMARY FUNCTION
This position will be responsible for Achive your Profit Plan, and the specification of Eaton RWD products in the assigned region with Electric Contractors, Home Builders, End users, architectural and engineering firms.
Will be responsible for the training of Electric Contractors, Home Builders, End users, architectural and engineering firms.
Good knowledge of competitors products.
Skill for RWD products specification.
Correct use of tools RWD, skills development strategies to increase sales specification RWD
He/she must be very structured to give follow up projects, maintaining good relations with internal and external customers, specifically with Electric Contractors, Home Builders, End users, architectural and engineering firms.
His/her analytical, statistic and communications skills will enhance this position to increase Eaton´s market share
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
A. Achieves Profit Plan
B. Provide technical trainings to internal and external customers to ensure the knowledge of our products.
C. Develop the specification according to Eaton's national strategy.
D. Develop and generate the strategy to introduce our brand in new markets and identify new business opportunities.
E. Ensure RWD Division participation in projects at the different markets.
F. Coordinate the relation between commercial, technical and marketing departments to maintain a good labor environment.
G. This specific function can be modified according to Division development needs.
H. Prepares Forecast in function your region and projects.
I. Developed Strategies and Synergies with Commercial Sales team and other Division to increase the specification in the market of Residential, Industrial and Commercial products.
J. Prospecting for new projects and creating a Deck of Projects
Qualifications:
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE
-Bachelor of Engineering, Electric, Electronic degree or related career is required.
-Strong knowledge on influence area.
-Strong Knowledge on Electric Contractors, Home Builders, End users, Firms and designers.
-Ability to work with different teams
-Pro launch knowledge
-Strong problem solving and Project Management skills
-Create strong business relationships, with strategic personnel and decision-making power.
-Effective communication skills at all levels inside and outside of the organization.
-Ability to work with functions outside of Engineering for the common benefit of Eaton
-Fully bilingual (Spanish/English)
-Good leader
-Good commercial skills

He or she needs to demonstrate experience in project management and prospecting.
Availability to travel about 50% of the time
