As an integration engineer, you will join our global, diverse Cloud Software and Services Team. We provide operators with services that help them to succeed in their transition to cloud-nattive software and automated operations so they keep preparing their networks for future.
Role Summary:The Packet Core Integration Engineer will perform activities of deployment, integration, configuration and troubleshooting for 4G Packet Core Nodes SGSN-MME, EPG, WMG, SAPC and Enterprise CORE for native and virtual solutions to analyze, prepare, implement, and verify the configuration and integration of a node, network and/or system.
It's an opportunity for you to grow into the role. We do not expect you to be a guide in every area of the scope but experience working with 4G is key demonstrating experience in full cycle from deployment to troubleshooting. Your further growth will focus on design and pre-sales in 5GC and Ericsson environment and working methods.
A Day in the Life of Integration Engineer and key role objectives: - Provide service delivery to telecommunication operators for United States and Canada.
- Work face to face with our customers and stakeholders to provide, System Integration, Rollout, Deployment, Troubleshooting, Optimization and Consultation of the Network. Include Linux, TCP/IP, Container, Kubernetes, and Virtualization technology to enabling voice capability upon 4G and 5G network.
- Be part of a highly motivated team of engineers, solution architects and testers to increase profitability and drive continuous improvement.
- Get to work with an outstanding local and distributed team, while interacting closely with our customers.
- Be able to influence and drive exciting, results-oriented projects.
- You can remove barriers and address complex situations with regards to technical challenges in integration activities.
- Conduct knowledge sharing with the team.
- Plan and coordinate project activities with priority.
To be successful in the role, you need:- To have a business level of English B2-C1 or equivalent
- Bachelor of Engineering or related field qualification
- Up to 4 years' experience of Telecom experience in packet core domain, including at least 1 to 2 years with 5G would be a plus.
- Good communication skills.
- Experience in Customer Management and conflict resolution
- Experienced with SGSN MME and EPG virtual and native.
- Experienced in the following tracks: Deployment, integration, upgrade, troubleshooting and testing of 4G packet core nodes, specially MME and EPG.
- Excellent communication skills in explaining technical concepts to non-technical individuals
- Demonstrate motivation to learn and constantly propose and drive improvement proposals for processes and tools.
- Ability to demonstrate or have experience working with teams locally and globally.
