What you'll do:
In this role, you will:
• Responsible for order entry and support functions involving pre and post order management (contract review, order processing, expediting, rescheduling and order closure).
• Provides timely responses to internal and external customer (includes customer inquiries, price and delivery request, advance warning of shipping delays, shipment confirmation, order reschedules and return authorizations.
• Interface with customers, sales representatives and other groups on product delivery and order management issues.
• Negotiates and prioritizes with production planner according to the urgency in each matter.
• Provides timely dropping of deliveries to ship according to customer need dates and maintain a strong plant on time delivery.
• Maintain strong customer relationships by designing and implementing new processes to improve customer relationships.
• Serves as a project leader in matters of major customer performance. Examples may include recovery schedules, and quality issues.
• Gathers information from service departments (QC, Eng., Prod., etc...) and creates action plans and ship schedules according to the situation in hand.
• Coordinates with CDC and shipping department so that the material being expedited has the correct shipping method according to the urgency and the orders moved to plant 1208 if need be.
• Maintains, reports involving expedite trace, OTD, and expedite turn around for strategic accounts.
• Trains peers on better practices and lessons learned as the situation presents itself.
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor degree completed
• Proficient use of computer/telephone
• Ability to problem solve
• Bilingual English/Spanish
Preferred Qualifications:
• Manufacturing process knowledge
• Custormer service background
