We are currently looking for a IT Engineer for our new site in San Luis Potosí, Mexico.

Job Requirements

We are looking for an IT engineer experienced in supporting information systems within manufacturing factories.

Objectives of this role

• Providing technical IT support to staff and resolving IT-related issues quickly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Analyze the needs of the user.
• Design, test, and develop the software applications or find a solution to meet those needs.
• Proactively communicating with headquarters IT personnel to ensure the smooth operation of information systems.

Required skills and qualifications

• Understanding of IT systems, networks, hardware, and software.
• Experience with database management systems (SQL, Oracle database, or MS-SQL).
• Experienced in commonly used information management systems (e.g., ERP or MES).
• Knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux), networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Good English command, capable of written and verbal communication with headquarters and international teams.

Preferred skills and qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience as a soft engineer, IT engineer, or similar role.
• Familiar with the entire operational workflow of manufacturing products, from design and production to procurement and sales.
• Proactive, highly collaborative across departments, and possesses strong problem-solving skills and a positive attitude.
